A Whale's Head Inn was specifically designed to provide for all vacation needs of all age groups in a family. Unlike many "rental machines," A Whale's Head Inn has ample space for all to find their own space. This includes two large vaulted-ceiling great rooms, a sunroom to view sunsets over the sound, a private sitting room on the mid-level to get away and read a book, a screen porch, home theater and game room with pool table and foosball. Finally, its expansive 2 ½ acre double lot, the largest in South Nags Head, provides 150 feet of beach frontage and space from neighboring houses, a rarity on the increasingly crowded Outer Banks where many 8-bedroom houses sit on 50 foot wide lots.

Sofa Sleepers. All master bedrooms are equipped with radio/alarm clocks,
cable tvs, CD stereo system, ceiling fans and color-coordinated baths.
Pool: Large in-ground pool has ample chairs and a picnic area with table,
benches and two barbecue grills. Pool toys and sand toys provide additional
possibilities for children and are conveniently stored in this area. This area
is lighted for evening swims. One can stroll along the lighted walkway to the
dune-top deck and ocean stairs.
